6-Year Motorcycle Warranty
Honda Australia Motorcycle and Power Equipment has announced a major milestone for riders, the launch of Australia’s first 6-year motorcycle warranty, setting a new benchmark for confidence and long-term ownership support.
This industry-first program effectively triples warranty coverage on eligible Honda on-road motorcycles, giving riders up to six years of coverage with no kilometre limit.
Honda has upgraded the warranty on eligible new on-road motorcycles (effective for models from 1 July 2025):

3-year standard factory warranty (increased from 2 years)

Up to 3 additional years of extended coverage when scheduled servicing is completed at an authorised Honda dealer

Total of up to 6 years warranty coverage with no kilometre limit

No additional cost to activate the extended warranty
This makes it the longest motorcycle warranty currently offered in Australia.
DESIGNED FOR REAL WORLD RIDING
The 6-year warranty applies across Honda’s full on-road range, supporting riders of all experience levels, from entry-level scooters and commuter bikes through to adventure touring and high-performance models.
Eligible motorcycles include a wide range of Honda models such as commuter-focused machines, adventure bikes like the Africa Twin and Transalp, and high-performance machines including the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.
CONFIDENCE THAT LASTS
The extended coverage is designed to provide reassurance throughout the entire ownership journey. By completing scheduled servicing with an authorised Honda dealer using Genuine Honda parts and recommended lubricants, riders can unlock the full warranty period and enjoy continued support.
The warranty is also transferable, offering added value should the motorcycle be sold within the coverage period.
